Properties flooded in South London following burst water main

The incident took place just before 5am this morning when a water main burst on Half Moone Lane.

Images show a sea of water several feet deep that has flooded homes, shops and many vehicles.

The London Fire Brigade attended the scene with a number of fire engines and rescue units, with images posted online showing dinghies being used to navigate the street.
