Sick bags are the most popular form of canvas due to their size and the space available (boarding passes are considered a little small), and passengers are urged to pop their snaps on Instagram, using the hashtag #QantasBlankCanvas. The most imaginative entries will win a double Qantas Club pass.
Head of digital and entertainment at Qantas, Jo Boundy, said that Qantas hopes to get passengers in touch with their creative side.
The campaign is a collaboraton with Aussie artist Gemma O’Brien, who’s already a dab hand at this sick bag designing malarkey. You can see her designs here; we’re rather fond of the ‘Frankie Says Reflux’ one.
