The impressively eye-catching purple vehicle with orange trim that looks like something out of a science fiction film was seized and impounded last week in Knightsbridge when the 24-year-old owner failed to provide police with insurance documents. The owner was also unable to prove he had a driving licence.
The car, seized as part of a police crackdown on uninsured drivers, now sits outside the London HQ with a large sticker across the windscreen that reads ‘Uninsured Vehicle – Seized By Police.’
Nasser Al-Thani of Qatar’s ruling family is reportedly the owner of the impounded vehicle, according to The Daily Mail.
