“We’re taking some time out whilst people are doing some other stuff, doing their own things, and the plan is to get back together again [at the] end of the summer,” bass player Johnny Greenwood told BBC6 Music.
Radiohead released their eighth album The King of Limbs in 2011 and played an arena tour last year, as well as several festival shows, including a headline performance at last summer’s Bilbao BBK festival.
Frontman for the Oxford alt-rockers Thom Yorke is currently working on side project Atoms For Peace – featuring bassist Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers – who release their debut album Amok on Feb 25.
