Never a band to do things the normal way, Radiohead have announced the imminent release of their eighth album The King Of Limbs.

Radiohead have begun taking pre-orders for ‘The King Of Limbs’ exclusively from their website, radiohead.com. Fans will be able to digitally download The King Of Limbs from as early as the end of this week, Saturday Feb 19th.

For fans who can wait, the band will also release a  brand new “newspaper” format which includes a made to order, ‘deluxe edition’ which comprises 2 clear 10” vinyl records, a CD, a digital download and exclusive artwork, out March 28.

Oxford five-piece Radiohead have adopted unorthodox methods of getting their music to the masses in recent years. Their 2007 offering In Rainbows, allowed fans to pay whatever amount of money they wanted to download the LP as part of an experiment.

This time around fans wont be so lucky and will have to fork out £30 for the “newspaper” format of the new album.

As with their previous album In Rainbows, Radiohead will release the new album with XL Recordings.

The King Of Limbs was produced by long-time collaborator Nigel Godrich.
