Rage Against The Machine will join Aussie rockers AC/DC as headliners at this year’s Download Festival at Donnington on June 11-13.
Rage Against the Machine, who scored the UK Christmas No. 1 single in 2009, also play a free gig at London’s Finsbury park a week earlier.
The band’s guitarist Tom Morello said he was amped for the show.
“Due to the insane demand for tickets for the free Rage show in Finsbury Park, we have decided to jump on this year’s Download Festival as well and spread The Rage Factor around the country a bit.
“Here we come, muthaf**kers!!”
Hard blues rockers Aerosmith, with Steven Tyler, have also been confirmed as headliners while Hollywood star Jared Leto’s Thirty Seconds to Mars, SlipKnot frontman Corey Taylor’s side project Stone Sour and iconic punk rocker Billy Idol will also rock the festival.
