WHAT: This year’s festival is all about a ‘Mile of Style’ – one of London’s busiest shopping stretches will be closed off to traffic, opening it up for food and wine tastings, street performers and fashion shows.
WHEN: September 26.
DO IT BECAUSE: Central London can be a bit of a nightmare at weekends but this is your chance to shop until you drop with only pedestrians for competition. You’ll not get another chance to cruise around the middle of London without being forced to navigate the mind-numbing congestion.
