The ultimate ‘Wonder List’ – the 25 must-do life experiences in the world today – has been revealed following a study commissioned to celebrate the 25th birthday of the Discovery Channel.
An expert panel, including presenter and adventurer Bear Grylls, created a list of the must-do worldwide travel experiences which was then shortlisted via a national poll of 2,000 Brits.
Here are the 25 experiences to get under your belt before you die…
1. Visiting the North Cape in Norway to see the Aurora Borealis
2) Diving or snorkelling along the largest living structure, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia
3) A road trip down Route 66, starting at Illinois and experiencing other great destinations along the route from The Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona to The Barringer Crater
4) Climbing/ hiking or visiting the skywalk at the Grand Canyon
5) A gondola ride down the Grand Canal, Venice
