And we’ve discovered a café, in Chippendale’s backstreets serving up British comfort food that will transport you to the Motherland faster than Richard Branson ever could. Try their half Chicken Roast ($24) it comes loaded with the works, including sweet potato mash, beans, roasted potatoes and my personal favourite, a cake-like slice of stuffing. I still managed to salivate over my dining partner’s Pork Belly Roast ($24) with a crackling that’s truly worth writing home about. Both come with the jazzed up side of pickled cabbage.
