From the first blast of the tuba, courtesy of the big-bellied bearded man who forms part of the eccentrically awesome live band, Limbo positively assaults your eyes and ears with a rumpus and raucous set of magic, comedy, acrobatics, music and dancing.

Eerie at moments, such as when the ‘mad scientist’ band leader makes seemingly inhuman sound effects with the mic to conjure a zombie-esque creature from the audience who then proceeds to bend in ways a yoga pro couldn’t dream of, to funny sketches, amazing tap dancing, a pole dance routine unlike you’ve ever seen in a shady club – and done by a man in a suit and tie – and balancing acts that have you watching through your fingers, there truly isn’t a moment you can tear your eyes away from the stage.

Each character brings something to the show, and they work together, supporting each other in their acts before blowing us away with their individual talent, and then after the show they join everyone for a beer in the courtyard of The London Wonderground’s big tent. That’s our kind of circus act.
