She will star alongside Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the latest instalment of the franchise that refuses to die.
An source close to the film told the Sun: “Writers think she’ll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn’t take any prisoners — just like her in real life.’
The film is set for release in May 2013 but production on the film is said to begin next month.
Part of it will be shot in England and Rihanna will be filming scenes on a racetrack in Southend and in London.
Last year, Vin Diesel revealed that the sixth part of the film would be split in two, meaning Rihanna could also star in the seventh film
