The new addition to the group will be located on the corner of Gillingham Street in Victoria, in the site that recently hosted the charming pop-up Laos Cafe by Saiphin – chef and co-founder of Rosa’s Thai Cafe.
The Victoria site will deliver the menu made famous at the existing cafe so expect homemade helpings of Saiphin’s authentic Thai food with a contemporary twist.
Meanwhile the drinks menu will feature with ice-cold Thai beer and bottled cocktails such as Kaffir Lime and Mint Toreador and Malt Banana Tree Old Fashioned, designed specifically to complement Thai dishes. Plus there’s a strong selection of aromatic loose-leaf teas from Comins Tea House that include Houjicha, Sencha karigane and a new addition to the collection, Lishan spring tea.
The new launch follows an exciting year for Saiphin Moore, who recently released her first book Rosa’s Thai Café The Cookbook which became Amazon’s #1 seller for Thai food worldwide.
Rosa’s Thai Cafe in Victoria will officially open on 2 May 2016.
