An official website for royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton went online today and is full of earth-shattering insights about the service, reception, procession and – wait for it – the wedding dress (well not yet, but apparently news is coming soon!)

The website, officialroyalwedding2011.org, will have exclusive content including photos, features, videos and links, Prince William’s office said in a statement.

officialroyalwedding2011.org  promises to be “the first place to view information such as the details of Miss Middleton’s wedding dress.”

The royal website may even feature a live stream of the wedding, “subject to further planning work,” the statement said.

Other essential viewing for royal family aficionados, includes a virtual tour of Buckingham Palace, stories about royal events such as William and Kate’s recent visit to their old university, St Andrews, and such insights as:

“Daffodils start to emerge in The Green Park, which sits along the processional route for the wedding.”
