Internet rumours are flying that Jackass star Ryan Dunn has faked his own death in order to promote his new movie – in which he plays a guy who dies but returns to hang out with his friend.
The rumours were fuelled when police s reported that his completely charred body was identified by tattoos.
Prank theory believers say that Dunn's Twitter photo showing him drinking could have been a trick to create witnesses and lead people into thinking he had crashed while drunk.
However, such theories abound whenever a celebrity dies and it would have been hard, probably imposible, to secure a corpse, tattoo it and then crash and burn a porsche.
Radar Online has reported police as saying that speed may have been a factor in the Jackass crew member's death.

Dunn, 34, and another person died in the crash which happened around 2:38 am Monday on Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, PA.
Authorities say the 2007 Porsche was engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene, and that the car had gone off the road and into the woods.
Authorities say Dunn was the driver. At this time, they will not release the name of the passenger in the car, pending notification of relatives.
