Sarah Palin took cocaine and had a one-night stand with NBA star Glen Rice, according to new book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin by Joe McGinniss, who spent several years researching the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate.
The book has been eagerly awaited and the allegations about Palin’s apparent drug taking and sex life will be music to the ears of her detractors.

According to McGinniss’s book, Palin had one-night stand with basketball star Rice in 1987 while he was in college. At the time, Palin was working as a TV presenter for KTUU in Alaska.

Their steamy night took place while Rice was playing for the Wolverines in the Great Alaska Shootout.
At the time Palin was dating, but not married to, her husband Todd.
McGinnis claims that she had a "fetish for black men".
The next juicy story is that Palin took cocaine with her husband Todd, who was said to be a regular drug-taker. McGinniss claims that Palin snorted coke off a 55-gallon oil drum while she and Todd were on a snowmobiling trip.
In another claim, McGinnis says that Palin smoked weed with her professor while she was at college.
According to the Daily Mail, the book also describes an alleged affair between Palin and Brad Hanson, who ran a snowmobile dealership with her husband Todd.
McGinness has been on a three-year mission to dig dirt on Sarah Palin, and last year moved in to a house next door to her in Alaska.
McGinniss's book The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin is due to be published on September 20.
