A matric pupil who allegedly killed a fellow schoolboy with a sword will appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Magistrate Christa Breedt is expected to rule on whether Morne Harmse, 18, is fit to stand trial.
At his last court appearance on August 27, Harmse was referred for psychiatric evaluation to Sterkfontein mental hospital.
He has been evaluated in the past month by three psychologists, Beeld newspaper reported.
He had told a psychiatrist that he had seen a ghost in a field on a farm his parents rented, which instructed him to become a Satanist.
Harmse, brandishing a Samurai sword and wearing a mask, allegedly killed Jacques Pretorius, 16, at the Nic Diederichs Technical High School on August 18.
He also allegedly stabbed and injured another boy and two gardeners.
