The janitor from Scrubs “knew” that Osama bin Laden was in Pakistan, it appears, as a four-year-old clip from the US TV show has gone viral in which the Scrubs character says: “I think they should be looking for Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.”

Soon after the story broke that bin Laden had been killed, Scrubs fans were posting the clip across the web.

The ‘Janitor was right’ clip has now been watched over 670,000 times on Youtube and has also been posted on Scrubs star Zach Braff’s Facebook page.

In the 10-seceond video, Neil Flynn’s Janitor character tells JD (Braff) that US forces should be looking for Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, not Afghanistan.

Al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden was shot dead by US Navy Seals in his compound in Pakistan.

Accounts of what happened vary and the US has retracted its original account of the killing.

On Monday, the US reported that bin Laden was killed in a “firefight” and suggested that he had resisted capture and had an AK47 rifle. However White House has now admitted that bin Laden was unarmed.

Original reports also claimed that bin Laden used his wife as a human shield and she was killed. This now appears not to have been true.

The discrepancy between the two versions of events was put down to the ‘fog of combat’ by the White House.

Three other adult males and one woman were killed in the bin Laden raid.
