Around 4,500 visitors are expected to take advantage of Magnetic Island’s racing, spectating and social opportunities during the week starting 27 August.

This year, the Island will be bustling with events for those looking to soak up the atmosphere including Friday and Saturday night parties and a beach fair.

In addition to six days of sailing action, race week will also feature six nights of free live music, free kayaking, free stand up, paddleboarding, the chance to try sailing through the discover sailing programme, ladies long lunch (no we don’t fancy that one either) and the Magnetic Island treasure quest – a race against the clock to solve clues, complete challenges and collect points while exploring the best the Island has to offer.

SMIRW will be an excellent way for Magnetic Island visitors to soak up a race week experience in an affordable way.

The race week runs from 27 August – 1 September, 2015. For more information, go to magneticislandraceweek.com.au
