Shadow Electric began hosting 60+ sessions in its incomparably romantic setting at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne back in January.
In keeping with tradition, they included a mix of new releases, cult classics, music documentaries and an oddball or two for the cinema nerds.
But in 2015, Shadow Electric is also much more than a 300-seater outdoor cinema with a 40 square meter screen and state-of-the-art sound system in 2015. There are table tennis tournaments, food trucks, special events and dozens of gigs from local and international artists in the 300+ person bandroom.
The bandroom is situated in the Industrial School, at The Abbotsford Convent. With a distinctive industrial feel and bar layout, Shadow Electric hosts some of Australia’s most memorable shows.
