Shane Warne’s dramatic weight loss since he’s been dating actress Liz Hurley is down to diet shakes, an Australian footballer claims.
St Kilda AFL footballer Steven Baker told the Herald Sun that he personally introduced the Aussie ex-cricketer to the organic weight loss drink, TaiSlim and now supplies him on a regular basis.
"I signed him up about three or four months ago on the diet system," Baker told the tabloid.
"He loves the stuff, he's addicted."
Warnie even had the drink sent over for his final season with the Indian Premier League, Baker said.
Warne has dropped a staggering two stone over the last four months with many speculating that his glamorous Hollywood girlfriend Hurley is behind his sleek new build.
But Warne defended his new squeeze on Twitter saying:
"I have always taken pride in my appearance and an attack on EH is unfair. I'm proud of how I look and worked my butt off for four months."
But Hurley could see the funny side of it all though.
“I'm about to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich-u may watch me as u slowly spoon up your thin & tasteless gruel,'' she tweeted.
“ Then I'll sit on your back and make you do 200 one armed press ups….”
