LaBeouf, who is in the capital filming on his new World War II thriller movie Fury, was out in Leicester Square with a friend downing a few cold ones when the pair spied a couple of women who were clearly the worse for wear after enjoying more than a few drinks themselves.
The Hollywood bad boy whipped out his phone and began filming the two women, 27-year old Ash Nawaz and her sister, as one of them was being sick in the street, only for a stranger to step in after seeing the two ladies telling him to leave them alone.
The Lawless star then turned the camera on this stranger, who didn’t take too kindly to being filmed either and socked the Hollywood star in the face for his efforts not once but twice, and kicked him in the groin. It was only after a couple of bouncers from a nearby club stepped in that the fight was broken up, with LaBeouf and his pal running off.
“I only realized it was Shia after he’d been beaten up,” Nawaz told The Sun. “I’d I’d known I would have let him film me as much as he liked. I have a massive crush on him.”
Fury, which LaBeouf is in the UK filming, co stars Brad Pitt and is due for release in November next year.
