The Irish singer’s latest tweets read she was “at hairy port.. about to board.. for london,,, yaaaaaaay!!!!!!!”
You can only assume she was at the ‘airport’, but the tweets got even stranger, Sinead going on to say: “yukuy ay abrre. misded lomdon vonnevtion to `;a so am in washingont staying night,,, up ealry flight… tiiiiired…”. We’ll draw from that Twitter posting a ‘missed… London…connection’ perhaps?
Thankfully Sinead O’connor, an icon of the 1980s, clarified that actually “srrry menat shit trave daly,,,”. We’ll guess she was having a nightmare journey back to London from Washington. Although, she only left Ireland two days ago, so it must have been a fleeting visit.
Sinead’s life has been something of a saga lately over the past few months. First she advertised online for sex over Twitter, before meeting Barry Herridge, who she went on to marry in Vegas. The marriage ended after 16 days. The singer explained it was partly down to her being offered drugs on her wedding night.
On Tuesday, O’Connor tweeted details of her “evening of love making” before divorcing Herridge.
“We decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again an [sic] stay married but we did rush so we gonna return to b friend g friend,” she wrote.
Sinead and the guff rapper 50 Cent are the latest in a recent rash of celebrities who have become trending topics on Twitter because of their public meltdowns, played out over the social networking site.
In a series of furious tweets to his 5.4 million followers on Monday, 50 Cent wrote: “I have lost all the faith in the team I’m on. I have nothing left to say I will not be promoting my music.”
He continued: “I’m going to deliver this album then. I have a film I wrote to focus on. I’m not upset I’m just convinced this is not how I want to be remembered.”
