Element Ski Travel says it is honour its guarantee of issuing full refunds to customers who booked early December holiday packages.

As the world famous Meribel resort faced a lack of snow and unusually warm weather, Element has officially issued full refunds to customers who booked packages under its ‘Snowsure Guarantee’ scheme which it says was designed to remove the risk associated with early December ski trips.

The promise meant customers wouldn’t have to ‘part with a penny’ unless 50% of the lifts were open in the Three Valleys ski area. Consequently, the company has reimbursed customers who were due to holiday weeks commencing 6 & 13 December.

Planning to open this weekend, Meribel Ski Resort has now officially pushed back opening until December 13 with the hope of heavy snowfall to follow in the next few days.
