Slash: Slash – TNT album review
Slash’s first solo album isn’t a solo album at all. It’s actually a collection of songs, each featuring a different guest vocalist/collaborator. Which is fine in theory, but the resultant tracks sound like pale imitations of the guest’s signature sound.
So Ghost with Ian Astbury passes for a Cult song, By The Sword with Andrew Stockdale is Wolfmother-lite, and so on. And the less said about Fergie’s faux rock chick turn the better.
A disappointingly limp affair.
