Low temperatures and rainfall will mean that snow will fall in some parts of the UK today, so while that only last weekend people were flocking to the beach and getting their white, untanned legs out, it’s now time to dig out that winter coat again.
Temperatures are expected to sit around 10 degrees centigrade in most parts of the country, with lower spikes in the north where snow is predicted to fall.
It is a little colder than average for this time of year, but not totally unheard of for snow to fall in May. Which puzzles us we thought British Summer Time had begun!
