Well, you’re in luck. As the Bollywood film industry celebrates its 100th year, this class is a nod towards the high-energy, colourful dancing for which the movies are famed.
Luckily, you don’t need to have a background in dance – just the enthusiasm to get on the floor, and strut your stuff.
A teacher will help you choreograph a movie-perfect routine of twists and turns, shakes and shimmies, which will keep your heart rate up and your waist size down.
Head along to one of the drop-in classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And, if you like what you see, book in for the five-week course.
As Bollywood is all about group performance, together with your classmates, you’ll learn some impressive moves that you’ll be bound to pull out on the dancefloor after a couple of beers.
It’s also a great way to meet new people. Classes are held at a variety of locations throughout London, including Pineapple Studios and Danceworks. Costs start at £11.
