Getting There

Air

Split Airport is located 24km from the city centre and direct flights are available from London and Zagreb. Buses from the airport to the city centre are available from just outside the terminal, a one-way ticket costs 30KN and can be bought on the bus itself.

Ferry

Ferries are available from mainland ports including Dubrovnik and Rijeka in Croatia and Ancona in Italy, as well as from the local islands Hvar, Brac and Korcula. Jadrolinija is the main ferry company in the area.

Bus

Split is connected to all major Croatian cities by a bus service. Booking tickets in advance is recommended during the peak season.

Train

A train service runs from Zagreb to Split.

Getting Around

Seeing Split on foot is the best way to explore the city. Local buses are available to see neighbouring sites.
