St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival: Sunday, March 16 from 12pm – 6pm

The London St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is now in its thirteenth year, and attracts over 100,000 people. It has become a destination event, which showcases the best of Irish music, song dance, culture and arts. The theme for this year’s parade is ‘World of Dance’, and London dance groups will rock up to help us celebrate the rich heritage of dance within Irish culture. St Patrick’s Day Sham-Rock at Honky Tonk: Saturday, March 15 – 17

A little slice of Ireland will arrive at Honky Tonk Clapham and Honky Tonk Chelsea this year as they celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a weekend of Emerald Isle events set to cheer up even the grumpiest leprechaun out there. On Saturday, Honky Tonk Clapham will host the Sham Rock night, an evening of brilliant live band playing several Irish rock tunes, delicious dishes including Jamesons Whiskey-marinated ribs and of course the star of the show – Guinness! St Patrick’s Day at Mr Fogg’s: Monday, March 17 from 6pm – late

Well known for enjoying a knees up, the residents of Mr Fogg’s will be full of Irish good cheer and shall be putting on festivities to rival that of the streets of Dublin. Guests will be welcomed by Celtic musicians Banish Misfortune, the most talented jig band this side of Limmerick, who will be playing throughout the evening, before they are all invited to join Tullamore Dew Irish whisky for a St Patrick’s toast, along with Irish-themed canapés. Taste a St Patrick’s Day-themed burger: Monday, March 17

Haché, the burger connoisseurs, get hot and smoky this month and they’re celebrating St Patrick’s Day with a smoked St Patrick’s Day Burger. This 6oz beef burger is infused with rosemary, thyme and garlic salt, topped with caramelised onions, sweet cure bacon and Guinness cheddar cheese, and served on a bed of smokey coleslaw in a brioche bun. St Patrick’s Day Irish Céilí and Wine Tasting: Friday, March 14

Grab your dancing shoes and get into the spirit of St Patrick’s Day with a night of Irish dancing at Vinopolis. Located under the stunning Victorian railway arches of London Bridge, Vinopolis will be hosting a traditional Irish Céilí – a popular form of folk dancing in Ireland. ­Music will be provided by London’s favourite céilí band, Licence to Ceilidh, known for its unique mix of traditional ceilidh tunes and dances with modern funky rhythms.
