The partying vibe in Stockholm doesn’t get going until after 10pm, so there’s plenty of time to have a siesta before heading out.
Sodermalm is full of trendy restaurants and bars or make your way to Stureplan and Ostermalm if you’re after nightclubs.

Koh Phangan

An adorable bustling Thai restaurant in Sodermalm, where diners sit at wooden huts adorned with fairy lights. Bright beach scenes are painted on the walls to transport you to the warm shores of Thailand.

A great spot to share a few beverages and snack style food before getting the night started. This Sodermalm spot turns into a club later on, although the main dance and bar area is rather randomly situated in the middle of the shopping area leaving you feeling like you’re dancing inside a Westfield mall.

Cafe Opera

On the bank of the surrounding Gamla Stan, Cafe Opera is where Hollywood celebrities hit when they’re in town. The bouncers are notoriously hard to get past, so make sure you’ve glammed it up for the night.

Some of the best Asian food that Stockholm serves up. This expensive restaurant in Stureplan turns into a low-lit bar later in the night, but is a bit lacking in vibe.
