Tavira in 1-2 days
Tavira is quite compact so you don’t need too much time to take in the sights. Start the morning at the town’s main square, Praça Da República, to see the colourful markets then wander through to Tavira Castle. Check out the many churches the town has to offer and pop into a patisserie to satisfy your sweet tooth.
If the weather is right, take a water taxi to Ihla de Tavira for some beach action. Make sure you stop into one of the town’s many restaurants to sample the local seafood.
