Have-a-go hero Rasaratnam Rahulan was held up at gunpoint by John Buckley but the video shows him refusing to give into the robber’s demands for money.
Buckley repeatedly asked Rahulan 33 to put his hands on the table but the newsagent refused.
Then Rahulan grabs the gun out of the robber’s hand while a customer forces the would-be thief to the ground.
The shopkeeper and customer managed to keep hold of the robber until the police turned up.
Buckley later admitted to attempted robbery with an imitation firearm.
He has been remanded in custody until November 23.
