And we’ve been treated to the first glimpse of what to expect from the concluding part of the trilogy.
“One day I’ll remember,” Bilbo, played by Sherlock star Martin Freeman, says as the trailer begins. “Remember everything that happened here – the good, the bad, those who survived and those that did not.”
The clip describes the film as “the defining chapter” and it depicts an epic-scale battle that takes place in Middle Earth, as generally tends to happen. EXCITED!
It stars Sir Ian McKellen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans, Hugo Weaving and Orlando Bloom.
The Battle of Five Armies is due for release in December.
