The Beer Festival, Clapham Common
WHAT: It does what it says on the tin. With an emphasis on local brews, this festival takes place in and around a cluster of Venn St pubs and offers drinkers, whether connoisseurs or just curious, the chance to wet their whistles.

DO IT BECAUSE: Winter isn’t far off, so now’s the time to properly discover British ales. There are few things more satisfying on a cold London evening than a giant mug of stout at a pub with an open fire. It’s gold. Start practising.
