2016 has already been a very big and busy year, for the world of poker, but the fun and excitement doesn’t stop. The world of poker has already seen some major poker events in London this year, from events hosted by Casinos including Grosvenor Victoria Casino to the UKIPT Season 6 tournaments, so find out what other events are happening in London for the rest of 2016.
UKIPT Super Series
This year the huge UKIPT series event happens to be taking place in the United Kingdom’s capital London, at PokerStars LIVE at The Hippodrome Casino. This casino happens to be situated in the heart of London’s West End. This big poker event will take place from the end of August 31st, right until September 4th 2016. However unlike the traditional UKIPT stops, each series festival comes with a host of great events with lower-stakes buy-ins. The first event to be kicking off the tournament will be the Hold’em Freezeout Satellite to UKIPT Super Series main event. The very last event to occur will be the Hold’em Knock Out which is also the priest event as well.
Grosvenor Casino’s UK Poker Tour
Next on the list will be the Grand Final Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, and it is currently the ninth consecutive series with over £400,000 guaranteed in the prize pool. The event will be held in Grosvenor Casino Victoria in London, this event will take place mid-November so there is plenty of time to catch up.
888poker London Festival
As well as many tournaments to look forward to, poker players can rejoice in the fact that 888poker will be hosting a festival in London, which is said to be a celebration of poker. This event has been designed with players in mind, as there will be a mass range of tournaments, longer structures, a variety of buy-ins and bigger guarantees. This festival, which is one of the first of its kind, will be in October from the 13th until the 23rd.
Genting Poker Series 2016
Following the same pattern of the success of the first 4 series the Genting Poker Series has quickly earned the reputation of one of the best pokers tours on the United Kingdom calendar. This year the organiser of Genting Poker Series has guaranteed there will be even bigger prize pools than ever before.
