If you’re a Colorado resident, those days are over, as you can now buy marijuana from a vending machine.
The machine, which is currently being displayed outside Montana’s Smokehouse barbecue, will offer produce from cannabis company Herbal Elements.
It’s been snappily-named the ‘Zazzz Machine’ and Herbal Elements owner Greg Honan is confident that this is the way forward.
“There’s no room for theft by patients, employees; there’s no way to lose track of the inventory,” he said.
However, don’t expect that getting your hands on the green stuff will be an easy ride. You’ll have to swipe your driver’s licence to prove you’re not underage, and cameras dotted around the Zazzz Machine will be watching you closely to verify who you really are.
Herbal Colorado yesterday tweeted: ‘The machine, when operating, will only be in a licensed facility, furthering steps in compliance, age verification, & inventory tracking.
‘There has not been any marijuana in the #zazzz machine & will not be any marijuana in the machine until all authorities ok its proposed use.’
