The illusionist sees Sylvain Chomet follow up Belleville Rendez-vous with another stunning film about a struggling conjuror who, while working in Scotland, meets a woman who thinks he’s a real magician.

A moving storyline about a forgotten era blends with wonderful visuals for a very grown-up animated feature.
