Damon Beesley, who penned the series and film with partner Iain Morris, told TV Biz: “I don’t want to give too much away at this stage but yes, we have been developing an idea for a sequel.
“We miss working with Simon, Joe, James and even Blake too much not to give it a go.”
The first Inbetweeners big screen outing made £45million and lead to a US adaptation of the original series being made for MTV.
According to The Sun, one idea proposed for the sequel would see the four reunited for Neil’s stag-do.
The Inbetweeners stars Joe Thomas, James Buckley, Simon Bird and Blake Harrison are set to make a cool £2.5m each from the sequel, a decent pay jump from the £100,000 they originally made from the first flick.
