Summer in Shoreditch looks set to be great fun as the Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop is transformed into Smokin’ Graciela’s Rooftop Bar in homage to the infamous cigar-smoking Cuban diva, 80-year old Graciela. Suspended in the ‘50s, the rich culture and colours of Cuba feature throughout the rooftop, immersing you into a world of rum, romance and relaxation, prying you away from London’s chaos into a small corner of vibrant Havana (although sunshine is sadly not guaranteed).

The drinks menu will include Frozen fruit daiquiris and Caipirissmas (whole lime, sugar and rum) while on the food front Cubanos (Cuban sandwiches) will be served alongside Ropa vieja (shredded beef), Slow roasted pork, Pollo frito a la criolle (Creole fried chicken) or Pincho de gambas y mango (prawn, mango & pepper skewers).

Activities to keep an eye out for include cigar and rum pairing workshops, domino nights and Cuban cocktail masterclasses. Whether you want to while away the hours playing Cuba’s favourite pastime dominoes, listen out for Cuban storytellers or simply grab some shade on a balmy summer’s night… we’ll see you there! Arriba!

SMOKIN’ GRACIELA’S ROOFTOP BAR runs from 1 May-September inclusive and entry is free
