A post on their website says:
“The Rolling Stones will be giving UK fans ‘One More Shot’ to see them live in concert this summer, with the news that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood are to play a second London Hyde Park concert on Saturday 13 July.”
The Stones’ first show at Hyde Park on July 6 as part of Barclaycard British Summer Time sold out in just over five minutes. “Basically we sold 65,000 tickets in the speed the system could handle,” said promoter Rob Hallett of the massive demand for tickets.
With this demand to see the legendary rockers so high, a second date on the July 13 has now been added, which will take place two weeks after the Stones play Glastonbury festival.
The London shows come as part of the Stones’ 50 and Counting tour.
Support for the second Hyde Park show comes from Tom Odell and Jake Bugg.
