ADF media has released that two of the soldiers who were shot – one in the hand and one in the leg – were flown to Tarin Kowt and were in a satisfactory condition.
The wounded soldiers were to be transported back to Australia for more treatment.
The third soldier’s injuries weren’t detailed, but the ADF says a full recovery is expected.
