Oft compared to My Bloody Valentine and Mercury Rev this London trio offer up gorgeous pop dreamscapes that recall the halcyon days of ’90s shoegaze but with an American ’60s psych-rock twist.
Their debut single Odds & Evens had the critics in raptures, and they supported Coldplay on their UK tour even though they originally turned them down – talk about confidence!
What else?: The trio are named after Richard and Linda Thompson’s ultimate break-up song Walking On A Wire.
The band say: “We try to make it heavy on record … it never comes across heavy – we are a lot heavier live.” (ameliasmagazine.com)
The critics say: “Delirious shoegaze that will leave you so overwhelmingly happy you’ll be clueless as to how it happened.” (Artrocker)
