Speaking on the first day of TBU Rotterdam, author of BestDadICanBe.com, Mark Richards told bloggers “Anyone can write a blog or publish a book and the problem is anyone has – make yours outstanding”

Richards extolled the virtues and the inspirational nature of travel writing, saying “Travel writers hold up a mirror to thousands of people’s dreams.”

Speaking about how to succeed at travel blogging, Gary Bembridge of tipsfortravellers.com told delegates “Give people what they want – and make it better than the alternatives.”

TBU Europe continues over the weekend with a packed schedule events planned.

“TNT is pleased to be a part of such an important travel blogging conference. As an expert on independent travel, TNT is considered an authority in the adventure publishing industry, with magazines in London, Australia and New Zealand,” said TNT’s Carol Driver, who available to discuss writer’s ideas for potential commissions during the TBU networking element of the show on Sunday, May 19.
