According to the review site, hotel prices in some destinations have plummeted by almost 50 per cent.
In Portugal’s popular sun and sea spot Albufeira, for example, nightly rates are down from £82 in 2011 to £47.
Prices in Barcelona have plunged 20 per cent since last year, while a night in Pamplona – which stages the ‘running of the bulls’ – is around just £14 now. Upsides to the downturn, eh?
