Artic Monkeys concerts in Finsbury Park on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 May
Finsbury Park station will be very busy from 10.30pm on Friday 23 May and Saturday 24 May following the Arctic Monkeys concerts in Finsbury Park.Seven Sisters Road (A503) will be closed between Green Lanes (A105) and Hornsey Road (A103) from 10.15pm to 11.30pm each night to allow for the smooth exit of concertgoers. Bus diversions will be in place during these times.
BUPA 10,000 race on Sunday 25 May
There will be extensive road closures in Westminster and the City on Sunday 25 May for the BUPA 10,000 race. However, some roads will be closed the day before, including The Mall and Marlborough Road from 8.30am and Birdcage Walk westbound from Buckingham Gate from 4.30pm. A number of bus routes will be diverted or will not run the full length of their route between approximately 7.45am and 1.30pm on Sunday 25 May.
Central line trains are not stopping at Bond Street station until late June, owing to the station being redeveloped to enlarge it and make it step-free. Customers are advised to use Marble Arch instead.
The District line will be partly suspended on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between Aldgate East and Upminster owing to track replacement at Barking and Crossrail work at Whitechapel.
The Hammersmith & City line will be partly suspended on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between Moorgate and Barking owing to track replacement at Barking and Crossrail work at Whitechapel.
Latimer Road station on the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday to allow for station improvement work. Ticket issuing facilities will not be available.
The Jubilee line will be partly suspended on Sunday morning until 11am between Waterloo and Finchley Road while essential Jubilee line tunnelling work is carried out.
The Victoria line will be partly suspended on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between Highbury & Islington and Walthamstow Central while points are replaced at Seven Sisters.
Queen’s Park – Euston: Suspended early on Sunday morning until 8.45am between Queen’s Park and Euston owing to Network Rail track work.
Watford Junction – Queen’s Park: Suspended on Sunday between Watford Junction and Queen’s Park owing to Network Rail track work.
Highbury & Islington – Clapham Junction/New Cross/New Cross Gate: Suspended on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction/New Cross/New Cross Gate owing to Crossrail work at Whitechapel and London Overground Capacity Improvement work to prepare the network for five car trains.
Sydenham – West Croydon: Suspended on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday between Sydenham and West Croydon owing to London Overground Capacity Improvement work to prepare the network for five car trains.
London Tramlink will be suspended between Saturday 24 May and Sunday 1 June between Addiscombe and Elmers End/Beckenham Junction while the road bridge at Spring Lane, Woodside will be replaced.
Trams from Therapia Lane and West Croydon will terminate at Addiscombe. Trams between Wimbledon and New Addington will run normally.
A replacement bus service will run between Beckenham Junction and East Croydon (Dingwall Road) stopping also at or near the following tram stops: Beckenham Road, Birkbeck, Elmers End, Arena, Woodside, Blackhorse Lane and Addiscombe. No buses will serve Avenue Road or Harrington Road tram stops.
