When I first went to Italy I didn’t really know what to expect but after spending two weeks their recently I would recommend it to anyone. It is a beautiful country with many attractions to see some which are mind blowing. The weather is lovely and at times can be very pleasantly warm.

When in Italy I visited Rome and Venice which I can now say are two of the most attractive cities in world. There are beautiful monuments and buildings to admire, and also some of the best restaurants in which I have ever been to before. In Venice, it speaks for itself with the city permanently filled with water and therefore to get around you have to travel by boat which is an experience on its own. Venice is known for being a romantic city and it certainly lives up to that reputation. If in Venice, the experience of going on an Italian gondolas has to be done as it is a once in a life time opportunity. Also in Venice other landmarks and attractions which I certainly recommend to see are the extraordinary churches such as Basilica San Marco which is an astonishing church, with one of the most famous sights associated with Venice. I highly advise that if in Venice this is seen as it is a remarkable sight.

In Rome the amount of different attractions in which to see is unbelievable and two that I highly recommend that are to be seen when in Rome are the Coliseum and The Vatican. These are both two of the most incredible monuments in the world and I urge people to go and see these two remarkable attractions. Rome has a brilliant nightlife as well, with a fantastic atmosphere and makes the perfect end to a day.

The food in Italy is some of the best in the world and has some fantastic restaurants all around the country I’m sure but in Rome restaurants such as Prado are of the highest quality along with lots of other restaurants.

When looking back at my trip to Italy I can say that it is fantastic country with a great amount to do for everyone. The wide ranges of attractions are just amazing and also the food and nightlife make it a complete country.
