The toilet is open to all visitors and not just a display item. You can use it, just as you would any other toilet.
It’s located in the existing bathroom on the fourth floor of the museum.
The golden toilet was created to the precise size of the other museum toilets by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and named America, after the Republican candidate for the US Elections 2016 Donald Trump (according to the press release from the museum).
Apparently Trump has golden chairs in his New York penthouse.
Suddenly the thought of using it becomes fun.
