As if getting home in London peak hour isn’t bad enough, commuters
can look forward to disrupted Tube travel at various points in coming
months, as maintenance workers dig their heels in over pay and
conditions.
The strikes will start at 7pm on September 5, with
further action scheduled for the same time on October 2, November 1, and
November 27.
At this stage, the Jubilee and Northern lines will be affected.
It’s fair enough for workers to want a fair crack. It’s just a pity
that their negotiating tactic involves shafting people trying to get
home from work.
