The X Factor judge’s personal assistant Gareth Varey is going to sit in on her first four dates with any new suitor so as to sniff out love rats.
The move comes after a video showing Tulisa fellating her ex boyfriend Justin Edwards – also known as MC Ultra from her band N-Dubz –was leaked online. Justin is alleged to have released the racy clip.
But a humiliated Tulisa is putting the sex tape scandal behind her, with her new vetting process.
Speaking on Radio 1 with DJ Chris Moyles, Tulisa said: “Gareth doesn’t leave my side, he even supervises dates.
“If I started seeing a guy Gareth would be on the first four dates, we come as a package.
“He doesn’t necessarily always get involved, he’s just always there.”
Tulisa, who is now dating ex-Skins actor Jack O’Connell, 21, is certain having Gareth around will ensure she never meets another heartbreaker. She is even thinking about making her future flames sign a “boyfriend contract”
“I know for a fact this will never happen again,” she said.
Tulisa was filling in for sidekick Comedy Dave Vitty, 37, on Moyles’s Radio 1 breakfast show, where she also revealed she would return as an X Factor judge.
She comes with an endorsement from Simon Cowell: “If I said no, it’s allowing every sleazebag in the country to wreck somebody’s career when she didn’t do something wrong. What she was doing was not illegal,” he said.
Last night her estranged cousin Dappy, 24, finally voiced his support for his ex-bandmate.
He Tweeted: “Tulisa better go 2 number 1 with her debut single (We r Young) Otherwise ill die..MC Ultra Watch when I catch u.. Dickhead.”
He added that he was now hoping for a reconciliation following a number of public spats with Tulisa.
