V Festival fans packed Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park in Staffordshire this weekend to see stars like Eminem, Rihanna, Jessie J and Arctic Monkeys doing their thing.
It rained; it was sunny; the crowd didn’t seem to care.
Without further ado, here are the pictures from V Festival 2011.

V Festival: Rihanna

V Festival: Eminem
Eminem closed the festival, after taking to the stage, telling fans: “London, UK. What the fuck is this, y’all? What the fuck is you on?”
The rapper – who was reportedly paid £2 million for his V Festival appearance – got the biggest cheers for a mash-up of hits My Name/Real Slim Shady/Without Me.
Rihanna then joined Eminem on stage to perform Love The Way You Lie.
V Festival: N-Dubz
X Factor judge Tulisa joined her N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer for a V Festival performance. The trio put on a united front, although Dappy couldn’t resist a quick dig, asking the crowd: "Who saw Tulisa on X Factor last night?"
V Festival: Tulisa
Tulisa Contostavlos performed two sets at V Festival – one in Staffordshire on Saturday and another on Sunday in Chelmsford.
V Festival: Jessie J
Due to having a broken foot, Jessie J rocked out from a chair on the stage at V Festival on Saturday, only managing to stand during Do It Like A Dude. As the rain cleared, Jessie dedicated a song to: "All those who've forgotten their sun cream."
V Festival: Dizzee Rascal
Dizzee Rascal drew a big crowd on day one of V Festival.
V Festival: Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys
Arctic Monkeys headlined V Festival long with Eminem. The band played some of their newer songs as well as crowd-pleasers like Mardy Bum and I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor.
The Sheffield band were joined on stage by Miles Kane, who frontman Alex Turner introduced saying: "We'd like to bring a blue mod onstage to help us with this last one. Here he is, the Wirral riddler, Mr Miles Kane."
V Festival: Bruno Mars
Accompanied by a three-piece horn section, Bruno Mars opened with The Lazy Song and went on to perform covers of Michael Jackson and Nirvana.
V Festival: Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding played the main stage, opening with Under The Sheets and going on to perform a cover of Elton John's Your Song and Starry Eyed.
V Festival: Dionne Bromfield
Dionne Bromfield paid tribute to her late godmother Amy Winehouse.
Before Bromfield played her cover of The Shirelles' Mama Said, she told the crowd: “I played this song on Strictly Come Dancing with a very special person to me. But I want us to all dance and have a good time today.”
Bromfield performed the track with Winehouse on the show in 2009.
V Festival: Kaiser Chiefs
Kaiser Chiefs have been off the scene for a while, but the band returned for V, taking the opportunity to tell fans: “Always use a condom.”
