Victoria Beckham spoke night about her joy at having a baby girl, tweeting that she feels “blessed” to give birth to Harper Seven.
The former Spice Girl and her husband David became the proud parents of their first daughter and sister to their three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six.
Victoria tweeted: “Baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen, I have fallen in love all over again!!!
“We all feel so blessed and the boys love their baby sister so much!!! X VB.”
The singer-turned-fashion designer gave birth to Harper Seven at 7.55 am on Sunday, who weighed 7lbs, 10oz. The Mirror reported that they took her home for the first time yesterday.
It is thought that the name was chosen by the couple’s sons, after a character from Disney TV show Wizards of Waverly Place. Her middle name, Seven, was her dad’s shirt number when he played for the Manchester United and England football teams.
Victoria and David have wanted a daughter for a long time. David said recently, The Mirror reported: “It’s a whole new different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, we’re really excited.”
It is also reported that Victoria bought £3,000 worth of stretch mark cream to help her get her figure back.
